Notarize documents for Rwanda from anywhere in the world

Lire en français

Living or working outside Rwanda does not have to slow down your affairs at home. With eNotaryRW you sign before a licensed Rwandan notary in a secure online session, from any country, and your document takes effect in Rwanda.

There is no embassy queue and no courier of paper originals. You upload the document, verify your identity on camera, sign, and the notary certifies it with an official registry number and a verification code that anyone can check online.

Who this is for

Rwandans in the diaspora, foreign investors, families managing property at home, and anyone who needs a document witnessed by a Rwandan notary while they are outside the country.

What you need

A computer with a camera and a stable connection, your identity document, and the document you want notarized as a PDF. Signers joining from abroad also provide a simple proof of where they live, which our team reviews before the certificate is released.

How a session works

Create your request and upload the document. Every signer joins a recorded video session, shows their identity document on camera, and signs. A licensed notary reviews the evidence, witnesses the signatures, and seals the document with the official stamp, a registry number, and a verification code.

What you receive

A certified PDF with the notarial stamp on every page, a certificate page with a QR code, and a verification code. Anyone you present the document to can confirm it is genuine online at any time.

Common questions

Can I really sign from outside Rwanda?

Yes. The whole session happens online. Signers from any country can join, and the platform records the session as evidence of who signed and where.

Is a document notarized online valid in Rwanda?

Your document is witnessed and certified by a licensed notary of the Republic of Rwanda, carries an official registry number, and can be verified online by any party you present it to.

What identity documents are accepted?

A national identity card or a passport. You present it live on camera during the session, which protects you against forgery.

How long does it take?

Most notarizations are completed the same day. Once every signer has signed, a notary reviews the evidence and certifies the document.

What does it cost from abroad?

Pricing for signers abroad is shown before you pay, with no hidden fees. You can see current prices on the home page.
